The Western Sydney Wanderers have fended off interest from the Perth Glory and Melbourne City to re-sign Alessandro Lopane on a three-year deal (Source: WSW).
“It’s a great feeling as I know the coach believes in me and believes in what I can do,” said Lopane.
“I just want to show everyone what I’m capable of. Hopefully I can get a lot of goals and assists for him (head coach Mark Rudan) and the fans. I want to do as much as possible to help the team win games.
“We’re aiming for the Top Four this season. Hopefully we can make Finals and I just want to keep improving as a player, scoring lots of goals and getting lots of assists.”

18-year-old Perth Glory defender Josh Rawlins has had his move to FC Utrecht of the Eredivisie confirmed, with a four-year deal signed keeping him at the club until the end of 2026.
The Glory will receive a transfer fee according to the European club.
“Joshua is a footballing right back. He is good in passing and dribbling and has a lot of drive forward”, said Utrecht technical director Jordy Zuidam.
“Defensively, he often resolves situations based on game insight and he is also quite intelligent in the way he plays his duels. Joshua also has good speed and, especially for someone of his age, has a lot of flair and charisma.”
