MEDIA RELEASE: KICK360 ANNOUNCE NEW PODCAST “PITCH TO PARK”
Kick360 is delighted to announce the next podcast to be added to their existing stable with a player-centric focus entitled “Park to Pitch”.
Hosted by current Port Melbourne Sharks player George Mells and Kick360’s Neal Symons, the podcast aims to provide the Australian football public new and intriguing insight into the world of professional football.
From academy level to the professional ranks, discussions will be had addressing the various experiences of various players, coaches, media personalities and administrators.
George Mells is a 2016 A-League Champion with Adelaide United, spending two years with the Reds over a two year period.
He has also had stints in England with the Chelsea and Southampton Academies, as well as spending time with Dutch club Fortuna Sittard and the Brisbane Roar.
Mells in recent seasons has lined up for the Port Melbourne Sharks in the NPL Victoria and has launched his new academy Central Football Academy which is based in Melbourne.
“I want to provide a professional opinion on football within our country and add value with my experience being a current player within the Australian football ecosystem,” Mells explained.
“This opportunity is incredibly exciting for me because it gives me a chance to educate others on different football topics and share my honest views with the footballing community.”
Numerous guests will appear on the podcast each week, with engaging and important conversations to be had covering a range of topics orientated around the world of Australian football from the bright lights of the pitch all the way to the training park.
The first episode of the podcast will air the week of the 22nd of August.
