English football superpower Manchester United are set to face Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace in Melbourne of this year, marking the third visit in nine years for the Red Devils.
It will be the second time United have played in Victoria and the first time they have done so in over 20 years.
Manchester United faced the A-League All Stars in 2013 and played a series of fixtures against A-League Men side Perth Glory and Leeds United in 2019.
The friendly is understood to be taking place on the 15th of July at the MCG according to Fairfax’s Michael Lynch, with attendance records expected to be close to being broken.
