For the second time in the history of the CONMEBOL Qualifiers, there will be three games in one qualification round in the Road to Qatar 2022.
The FIFA set of games will start with Paraguay and Argentina. The actual champion of the continent, La Albiceleste, wants to keep the track and add as many points as they can to chase the leader of the group, Brazil
A victory will give Paraguay the chance to jump the standings and get enter the qualification positions
Montevideo will set the stage for this amazing game between Uruguay and Colombia, both teams are in direct qualification positions, but Colombia has the chance to take the third place but if that doesn’t eventuate, they will compromise the chance of getting a direct ticket to Qatar.
Venezuela will face the powerful Tite’s Brazil team. This will be one of the chances for the Vinotinto to get back on track and jump into the standings.
Surprisingly, Ecuador is on top of the standings in direct qualification position where Bolivia will be the visitors and they need a victory to have a chance to fight for spot in the next World Cup.
However, the most attractive match will be the one of the final games in the round between Perú and Chile in Lima.
“Clásico del Pacífico” will be deemed difficult for both teams because they need victories if they want to have a chance to secure a spot in the Qualifiers.
Chile has been playing well but they are conceding in the latter stages of matches. Peru have been irregular during the Qualifiers, but they may surprise in what proves to be the most engaging contest in this set of qualifiers.
