Breaking: Western Sydney Wanderers coach Carl Robinson has departed the Western Sydney Wanderers following a 3-0 loss to the Brisbane Roar last night in Redcliffe.
It comes after a string of poor performances this season, leaving the side in 11th place after seven games played where Robinson also failed to make finals last season.
In a statement the club said:
“Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the departure of Isuzu UTE A-League head coach Carl Robinson effective immediately.
The Wanderers would like to thank Carl for his time at the club over the last one and half seasons and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
The club will shortly make an announcement regarding the head coach position for the rest of the season.”
